Welcome to Liir.

This is a new form of identification. No personal information is required unless you choose to offer it.

For most people this takes about five minutes. Nothing to write down, nothing to memorize — bring something to drink if you like. When you're ready, we'll begin.

In a hurry? Keep your invite code and come back later. No rush: the door will know you.

What you are about to make

A Liirlit: your name, worn as a mark. Today it signs you in with no password, gives you a mail address, and opens a vault only you can read. Everything else it will do is being built, and none of it is promised here.

Beads + blades are the name. The longer the name, the more beads and blades it takes to say it.
Rings change how your mark looks, nothing else. Your name decides how many rings it needs; wearing extra is style. No penalty, no advantage, no security difference.
Armor is the choice that changes the math. An armored mark carries backup copies of itself and survives damage.
The heart is you. A reminder that your verification lives in the center, and without your touch the Liirlit is incomplete.

Your account name: how you sign in, your mail address, and the name your vault answers to. One claim covers every size and armor, so no one else can wear it in any shape. Never for sale, never taken back. It stays private: when you write to someone, they see a random address for you, never this.

·
Your display name, if you want one. Without it, people see a random name for you in every room and every letter. With it, they see this word on a silver mark. Optional, $4.99 once, yours forever; you can add one later from your account.

Your heart

The center of your mark can show that your age was verified. It is optional. If you choose it, an outside service checks your age and tells us only pass or fail: never a document, never a birth date, nothing stored.

Lit, your Liir can open doors that ask for an adult. Unlit, everything else works exactly the same. You decide at the end of this walk, or any day later from your account, or never.

Your Vault

Your Vault seals whatever you choose to keep — and it opens with keys, never passwords. Its true key is a stone of pure chance, minted the moment your Liir is born. Nothing you memorize, nothing you type. We cannot read what it seals. That is the product.

Where it lives is yours to choose: on this device, free; across your own devices as a small private network, which our app walks you through; or hosted by us, sealed before it ever leaves your hands. Same keys, same cards, wherever it rests.

Three cards print with your breath — the last thing this ceremony does. On an ordinary day, one card and your sign-in open the vault together. If your devices are ever gone, any two cards, held up to a camera, bring everything home — nothing memorized, nothing typed. One stays with you, one in a safe place at home, one somewhere else entirely. Never two in the same drawer.

No printer right now? Nothing is lost: the vault simply waits. Your name, your mail, and your sign-in all work from today; the vault wakes the day its cards exist. Print them any day at /me — at home, a library, a friend's. Never save the print as a file on your computer. Print it. Print extra copies if you like, and keep them in safe places: all three cards in one place is the whole key.
