How Liir Works
Three words carry the whole idea, then seven famous laws, and the anatomy of the Liirlit itself.
A site asks.
It just happens.
Your Liir answers with exactly what was asked for and nothing else. You approve once, and you are already through.
A small circle of beads, drawn from your name. It's your signature, your ID card, and your front door, all in one. People scan it, and you decide what opens.
Tap the gold etch mark on anything, a letter or a file, to etch it: make it part of your Liir. Like carving into metal, it's done on purpose and made to last.
Anything you've etched. Your etchings can show on your page, and every one has a dial: public: anyone can see it · ask: they knock first · vault: only you, ever.
It's the Liirlit that makes the Liir: you are what you've etched.
What happens when a Liirlit is read?
“Decoded” just means “read.” Like a barcode, a camera can understand the pattern. It does not mean your private data has been cracked open.
The reader recognizes the Liirlit.
It reads the pattern and knows which Liir it belongs to.
The Liirlit tells it where to knock.
It gives the reader enough to ask the owner for what it needs. The Liirlit itself is not a secret.
The owner decides what answers.
Public things can open. Anything that needs permission asks them first. Vaulted things stay vaulted.
A Liirlit is not a password.
Someone can see it, print it, or send it. That does not give them your passkey or your Vault keys.
Reading is not opening.
The pattern can be understood without opening anything. Your sharing rules decide what, if anything, the other side receives.
You are still in control.
A scan does not dump your identity. The other side gets only what that interaction is allowed to receive.
Think of a Liirlit as your name and doorbell combined. Anyone can find the door. They still do not have the key.
