one vault, many rooms

Things that belong to you

The Vault is not a folder. It is a set of rooms, each built for a kind of thing you refuse to lose, and every room answers to you alone.

Crypto / Cold Storage

One root secret. Every network's keys derived beneath it, never one key reused everywhere.

Credentials Book

Every login you own, in one book only you can open.

2FA Generator

Your six-digit codes, made from your own Vault. Lose the phone, keep the codes.

Letters & Emails

The mail worth keeping. Etch a letter and it crosses into the Vault, kept word for word.

Secured Files

The deed, the contract, the PDF that matters, exactly as the day you kept it.

Photo Archive

The pictures you refuse to lose, full size, sealed and reclaimable for as long as Liir operates.

Steel Moneyclip

Holds your Liir-cash. Spends only with your touch.

Link Wall

The links worth keeping: private for you, or pinned to your page for everyone.

The Vault opens room by room through the invitation era.

the mark you'll meet everywhere

One stroke keeps it. The second seals it.

Tap it once on any letter or file and it is kept. Tap it again and it is sealed. Seal and unseal at will.

watch it work

Every thing you keep carries a dial

Vault: only you, ever. Ask: they knock, you answer. Public: it shows on your page. Flip it, and the world updates. Flip it back and it is gone everywhere, instantly.

Your Vault

sealed to you · only you see this side

liir.to#you · what the world sees

it plays by itself · touch any dial to take over

We store what we cannot read.

Your Vault is sealed on your device before it reaches Liir. We hold the envelope, not the key.

Liir Cold Key

Transforming Private Key Security

Every wallet begins as twelve words. Lose them and the money is gone forever. Write them down and anyone who finds the paper owns you. For fifteen years the industry has answered with the same shrug: stamp your secret into a plate and guard it with your life.

We refused.

The Liir Cold Key is the first backup that is also a mark. Your seed is folded against a key that lives sealed inside your Vault, and what comes out is noise. Perfect, mathematical noise. We shape that noise into the innermost ring of your own Liirlit and forge it into bead-blasted stainless steel. The card can sit on your desk. A burglar can photograph it.

It is jewelry to everyone on earth except you.

When you want it back, you point your camera at the ring. Your Vault recognizes its other half, refuses any card altered by even a single bead, and brings your wallet home.

A thief steals metal. Only you can reassemble the heart.

The Liir Cold Key: a stainless-steel card in its case, the mark engraved across its face

The card is the vault. The rings are the code. Only your Liir can read it.

fair questions

Things you should ask us.

Can Liir read my Vault?

No. Vault artifacts are sealed on your device before they reach us; we hold envelopes we cannot open. To be precise about the rest: mail is processed the way all mail must be (delivered, filtered for spam), and anything you set to public is, by definition, published. The Vault itself stays dark to us.

What happens to my Vault if I stop paying?

Live services end: sync, mail, your page. Your Vault is sealed, not deleted, and stays reclaimable for as long as Liir operates. Come back in a year or a decade: reactivate it, or take the whole archive home. You never pay just to keep owning what is yours.

Does Liir Mail count against my Vault storage?

No. Mail has its own allocation of shared storage and behaves like mail. The Vault's 100 MB holds what you choose to keep. When you keep a letter, a copy crosses into the Vault and the original stays in your mailbox.

What exactly is an etching?

Anything you decide to keep. Etch a letter, a file, a photo: it becomes yours in the Vault, and you set its dial. Sealed for you alone, shown when someone asks, or published on your page. Everything starts sealed.

Can I etch things in shared storage as well as my Vault?

Yes. You can etch or vault anything. Anything in shared storage that is vaulted moves into the Vault.

Can I use a Liir Cold Key more than once?

Yes. Reading the card does not consume or change it. Your Vault can recover the same wallet again whenever you need it, as long as you still have the private decoder that belongs to your Liir. Treat every recovery like opening a safe: do it privately, on a device you trust.

How is a Cold Key safe if cold wallets are supposed to be kept in a safe?

A normal metal backup often protects a readable seed phrase, so physical secrecy does most of the work. A Liir Cold Key is designed differently: the card carries an encrypted recovery mark, not the plaintext seed. The metal by itself is not enough to recover the wallet. A physical safe is still smart protection against loss, fire, theft, or destruction, but the secrecy of your seed does not depend on hiding the card.

What deserves to survive?

Not everything. Just the things that are yours. The Vault is where they live.
