Report something.

This is the door for copyright notices, intimate images shared without consent, material that exploits children, and anything else that should not be here. A person reads every report. Here is what to send so we can act fast.

Who answers

Siliroid LLC d/b/a Liir operates liir.net, thiir.net and the Shelf. Reports go to abuse@liir.net; copyright notices may also use dmca@liir.net. Both reach the same people as hello@liir.net.

What we can see, so you know what to expect: Shelf files and hosted mail are encrypted at rest with a key Liir holds, so on a valid report we can look at the specific item reported. The Vault is sealed with keys Liir never holds and cannot be inspected by anyone but its owner.

On file with the U.S. Copyright Office as DMCA-1079906, registered September 4, 2026.

A notice must contain six things, and the law names them:
Your signature: physical or electronic.
The work: identify the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
The material: identify what is infringing and where it is on Liir, so we can find it.
Your contact information: how to reach you.
Good faith: a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
Under penalty of perjury: a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

What we do: remove or disable access “expeditiously,” the statute's word, which we read as fast; tell the account; and forward a counter-notice if one arrives.

A counter-notice must contain:
Your signature: physical or electronic.
The material: identify what was removed and where it was before we removed it.
Under penalty of perjury: a statement that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, and phone number.
Consent: to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, or for Oregon if you are outside the United States, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.

If the sender does not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed suit to keep the material down, we restore it by the 14th business day.

Repeat infringers: accounts that draw repeated valid notices are terminated.

Intimate images shared without your consent

If an intimate image of you, real or generated, is published on Liir without your consent, the TAKE IT DOWN Act gives you a clock and gives us a duty. Send us:
Your signature: typed is fine; or the signature of someone authorized to act for you.
The image: enough to identify it and where it is.
A short statement: that you believe in good faith it was shared without your consent.
A way to reach you.

We remove it within 48 hours of a valid request and make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies. We act in good faith on requests that reasonably appear valid, and the law protects that. Do not send us the image itself unless we ask.

Material that exploits children

We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline, as federal law requires, preserve what the law requires us to preserve, and cooperate with law enforcement. We do not scan your files, and sealed Vault content cannot be inspected by us. If you see it, report it to us and to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org. Do not download or forward it.

A child under 13

Liir is not for children under 13. If you know an account belongs to a child under 13, tell us. We will remove the account and its personal information.

Anything else

Impersonation, fraud, spam, a name that should not exist: abuse@liir.net. Say what you saw and where.

What happens next

A person reads it. We log the report, we act inside the clocks above, and we answer you. If a report asks us to act against an account, we tell that account what was reported and what we did, unless the law says we must not.

This page is the report door. The terms say what may not be put here and the privacy page says what we hold. If it changes, this date changes: September 4, 2026.
